2019 Activities

Special live demonstrations and fun hands-on activities at multiple locations throughout the weekend. Painting demos, block carving demos, woodworking demos, weaving and more! Hands on activities where you make and then take home with you. Many of these activities occur several times during the day. SATURDAY

 

All Day

  • Learn About Color: watercolor demonstrations by Nan Daly, plus the opportunity to paint your own greeting card  (Location 2)

  • Woodworking demonstrations: lathe and inlay work by Gerry Clifford  (Location 5)

  • Rubber block carving demonstrations by Anne Nydam, plus the opportunity to carve your own miniature rubber stamp  (Location 6)

  • Create your own Japanese brush painting with Naomi Wilsey, for children ages 5 and up and adults  (Location 7)

  • Painting demonstrations by Claire Gerard (Location 12)

  • Wheel throwing and hand building demonstrations by the Potters Shop & School  (Location 13)

  • Viking Knitting: a demonstration of hand weaving fine metal jewelry by Jennifer Yogel of Local Color Jewelry  (Location 13)

11:00 - 12:00
